【Medmain’s AI-Powered Pathology Cloud System “PidPort” implemented at Ha Dong General Hospital in Vietnam】

Medmain Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka, Japan, CEO: Osamu Iizuka) is pleased to announce that its AI-powered digital pathology cloud system, “PidPort” has begun to be used for research and pilot testing at Ha Dong General Hospital, a Level I municipal hospital in Hanoi, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Medmain has been actively collaborating with medical institutions across Vietnam, including Bach Mai Hospital, E Hospital, and Thai Nguyen A Hospital, with whom we have signed MOUs to advance joint initiatives in research and medical education, promoting the social implementation of AI-powered pathology diagnosis.
The collaboration with Ha Dong General Hospital builds on these achievements, further advancing efforts to enhance diagnostic accuracy and promote the adoption of digital pathology in northern Vietnam.

This initiative is based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on October 17, 2025, between SMC Co., Ltd., Medical Tourism Japan Division and Ha Dong General Hospital. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of representatives from the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.

Through this collaboration, Medmain will continue to advance the implementation of medical AI and expand Japanese-style medical workflows in Vietnam, while supporting local healthcare professionals and driving the digital transformation (DX) of medical services.
